Ok, Ok I promise that this is my last email on the Baysingers for today. I was
just looking over notes that Ed Baysinger had sent and wanted to give the source for wife of Jacob for those of you who do not have this info.
Annette Kunzelman Burgert's book, "30,000 German Immigrants from Northern Alsace to America," Burgert's book attributes her information to the parish records at Kutzenhausen Lutheran Church in Hermersweiler, Alsace. The record says that Philip Jacob is the son of Jacob Besinger, a herdsman of Hermersweiler.
I have three brothers arriving from Alsace (town of Hermersweiler)--Johann Peter,
Michael and Philip Jacob--in 1770 and landing at Philadelphia before moving on to Lancaster, Pa.
Wife of Jacob ascertained by Church Record town of Oberbertschdorf, Alsace,France noting the marriage of Susanna Boesinger to Philip Heinrich Marsolf 1777. Parents were Jacob Boesinger and Margaret Laemmer of Hermersweiler. (this info from Larry Payne)
So we are great for wife and four children for Jacob. Take care
Marilyn
